SYSO Monitor – Construction Site Safety (San Isidro, Guatemala)

About the role

The position is responsible for monitoring and following up on the SYSO plan and the safety of project collaborators on a construction site in the San Isidro area of Guatemala. The role involves on‑site supervision, safety promotion, and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct rounds within the construction site to ensure compliance with SYSO standards.
• Inspect and verify the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
• Promote occupational health and safety through talks and training sessions.
• Prepare reports and manage key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Foster a SYSO safety culture among all project collaborators.

Required profile

• Experience working in the field.
• Experience supervising construction projects (preferred).
• Proven knowledge in occupational health and safety, first aid, risk prevention management, and legal safety regulations.
• Flexible schedule to work half‑day Saturdays and possession of personal transportation.
