About the role

The Laboratory Technician will work on‑site at Centro Diagnóstico Ebenezer in Mixco, handling biological samples and performing routine clinical analyses. The role supports the diagnostic team by ensuring accurate, traceable results and maintaining a clean, well‑organized laboratory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, label, and prepare biological specimens according to established protocols.
• Conduct routine clinical tests using laboratory equipment.
• Enter test results into the laboratory information system, guaranteeing data quality and traceability.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organize reagents, and manage inventory of consumables.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to resolve testing issues, answer queries, and provide timely service to patients.

Required profile

• Graduated as a Clinical Laboratory Technician, accredited by the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (MSPAS).
• Previous experience operating laboratory equipment and performing basic laboratory techniques.
• Proven ability to apply quality‑control procedures and follow safety protocols.
• Analytical mindset for interpreting results and communicating findings to the clinical team.
• Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new procedures and technologies.
