About the role

PREMEX is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment across multiple food processing plants and agricultural facilities. The role involves performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical failures in plant equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, adjustments, and calibrations according to established procedures.
• Conduct scheduled inspections to identify potential issues before they become failures.
• Respond quickly to reported breakdowns, replace defective parts, and restore equipment functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, part replacements, and testing.
• Generate periodic maintenance reports summarizing equipment status and actions taken.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations at each client site.
• Participate in safety and maintenance training programs.
• Lead a team of technicians in dosing and maintenance operations.

Required profile

• Graduated in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in balanced feed, grain processing, or agro‑industrial environments.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently across the country and Central America.
• Proactive attitude, autonomy, responsibility in the field, and strong learning ability.
