About the role

We are looking for a Radiology Technician to join Polidiagnosticos in Guatemala. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic imaging studies, ensure compliance with quality and safety protocols, and support the medical team in interpreting results.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and verify correct identification and registration of examinations.
• Adjust, operate, and maintain digital radiology equipment according to established protocols.
• Apply radiological protection standards to safeguard patients and staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate accurate diagnosis.
• Maintain imaging rooms and equipment in optimal condition.
• Assist with basic appointment scheduling and workflow management.

Required profile

• Formal training and experience in radiology.
• Strong knowledge of practical application of radiological protection regulations for patients and personnel.
• Ability to work safely and empathetically with patients.
• Team‑oriented attitude and effective communication with medical and nursing staff.

Required skills

• Operation of digital radiology equipment.
• Implementation of radiological protection standards.
• Use of radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
