About the role

Fix‑U Technologies Group is looking for an on‑site IT Support Technician to serve corporate clients directly at their locations in Guatemala City and the surrounding metropolitan area. This field‑based position involves hands‑on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment installation.

Key responsibilities

• Visit client sites to resolve incidents, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and install/configure computers, networks, and video‑surveillance systems.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support both on‑site and remotely, tracking each case to closure.
• Assist with logistics for deliveries and installations, documenting each visit with a detailed report.
• Escalate complex cases to the Technical Account Executive when higher‑level decisions are required.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Systems Engineering or related technical degree, or proven technical training in IT support.
• Experience delivering Level 1 and Level 2 technical support.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the metropolitan area.
• Professional appearance and strong client‑facing communication skills.

Required skills

• Hardware and software troubleshooting (Windows, macOS).
• Structured cabling, router/switch/access‑point configuration, IP addressing.
• Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration.
• Video‑surveillance and access‑control system knowledge.
• Familiarity with monday.com for task management.
