About the role

We are looking for a Support Technician to provide timely and quality technical assistance to end‑users, ensuring the smooth operation of computers, applications, network infrastructure and video‑surveillance systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver prompt technical support to end‑users, handling hardware, software and peripheral issues.
• Maintain and troubleshoot computers, Windows operating systems, printers and related equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective actions on network components and video‑surveillance systems to guarantee operational continuity.
• Assist with structured cabling installations and upgrades (Cat5e, Cat6).

Required profile

• University student pursuing a degree in technology, computer science or a related field.
• Previous experience supporting Windows users, hardware and printers.
• Knowledge of structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6) and basic IP networking (switches, routing, firewalls).
• Team player with strong problem‑solving abilities and good communication skills.
• Availability to work on‑site in Escuintla.
