VP of Compliance AML, Ethics and Regulation

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to define and execute the regional strategy for anti‑money laundering (AML), counter‑funding of terrorism (CFT) and fraud detection. The VP will protect the organization from financial, regulatory and reputational risks while fostering a culture of ethics and integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the regional AML/CFT and anti‑fraud strategy, setting priorities based on risk assessments.
• Supervise the AML/CFT and anti‑fraud program, ensuring effective monitoring, detection and treatment of incidents.
• Direct critical investigations and incident management across the region.
• Develop and drive the corporate ethics and integrity agenda.
• Produce risk intelligence and strategic analysis for senior leadership.
• Advise senior management on regulatory changes and emerging threats.
• Coordinate relationships with banks, partners and key stakeholders.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to strengthen operational controls.
• Manage and develop the regional compliance and anti‑fraud team.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Finance, Administration or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Compliance, Risk Management or an MBA is desirable.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
