About the role

Grupo SGL International is expanding its regional logistics division and seeks a Logistics Advisor specialized in the construction sector. The role will support industrial, infrastructure and construction projects across Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, providing end‑to‑end logistics solutions for materials, equipment and project cargo.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities with construction and industrial companies.
• Provide specialized logistics consulting for infrastructure and construction projects.
• Coordinate project cargo and specialized equipment shipments.
• Optimize logistics costs, timelines and planning.
• Maintain commercial and operational follow‑up with strategic clients.
• Manage relationships with logistics providers, carriers, shipping lines and specialized operators.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics of construction materials and equipment.
• Knowledge of import and export procedures for machinery, structures, finishes and industrial materials.
• Experience handling special, oversized and project cargo operations.
• Operational and commercial knowledge of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.
• Experience in land, sea and multimodal coordination.
• Ability to serve corporate clients in construction and infrastructure.
• Strong negotiation skills and capacity to design complex logistics solutions.
• Commercial orientation with a strategic mindset.
