About the role
We are looking for a bilingual (Spanish/English) lawyer to join AZC Legal’s team in Guatemala. The successful candidate will work directly with U.S. law firms, providing support on immigration cases, preparing legal documents, and communicating with clients in both languages.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and reviewing U.S. immigration forms.
- Draft sworn statements, case summaries, and formal communications in English and Spanish.
- Conduct legal research and keep client files up‑to‑date.
- Act as liaison between supervising U.S. attorneys and end‑clients.
- Ensure compliance with quality and confidentiality standards required by partner firms.
Required profile
- Law degree (mandatory).
- High‑intermediate (B2) to advanced (C1) English proficiency with excellent writing and comprehension.
- Interest or experience in U.S. immigration law is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and result‑orientation.
- Ability to work in an international environment following foreign firm guidelines.
