Elixir Backend Engineer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

FullStack is seeking an experienced Elixir Backend Engineer to join client teams on a remote, project‑based basis. You will work directly with designers and engineers to deliver robust backend services for mobile applications.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven professional experience with Elixir and the Phoenix framework in production environments.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Successful completion of a four‑year college degree.
• Experience building and maintaining backend services powering mobile applications (React Native).
• Deep experience with relational databases, SQL, PostgreSQL, and Ecto.
• Track record of third‑party API integrations and improving legacy systems.
• Strong automated testing practices and familiarity with Docker and CI/CD workflows.
