Financial Planning Analyst – Remote (Guatemala/El Salvador)

About the role

Join TELUS Digital as a Financial Planning Analyst supporting the operational management of operating expenses (Opex) across Guatemala and El Salvador. This remote, full‑time position blends hands‑on financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting while driving process improvements and finance transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting for Opex across multiple functions.
• Build and maintain financial models, dashboards and reports to monitor Opex performance and identify trends.
• Conduct variance analysis, highlighting spending risks and opportunities.
• Assist business leaders with data‑driven insights for planning and decision‑making.
• Participate in monthly close activities, including accruals, allocations and reconciliations.
• Ensure data accuracy across planning and reporting systems; automate recurring reports where possible.
• Partner with Accounting and Finance teams for data validation and reporting requirements.
• Evaluate and improve existing FP&A and Opex processes, supporting standardisation and automation initiatives.
• Contribute to finance transformation projects and cross‑functional process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience managing operating expenses.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, monthly close and variance analysis.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on data integrity and reporting accuracy.
