Gerente de Programas y Proyectos

About the role

The Gerente de Programas y Proyectos will lead the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of ActionAid Guatemala’s programmes focused on social justice, gender equality and climate change. The role works closely with partner organisations to develop and deliver local and national rights‑based initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate, implement, monitor and evaluate the impact of programmes and projects related to social justice, gender and climate.
• Support partner organisations in developing local and national rights‑based programmes and specific projects.
• Lead the assigned thematic area with a human‑rights and feminist perspective.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Country Strategy and Monitoring & Evaluation framework.
• Participate in updating and applying ActionAid Guatemala’s organisational strategy, governance policies and thematic axes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in programme and project management within the development or humanitarian sector.
• Strong understanding of gender equality, climate issues and human‑rights approaches.
• Ability to work collaboratively with NGOs, government agencies and community groups.
• Experience in monitoring, evaluation and results‑based management.
