Laravel Developer + React – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a seasoned Laravel Developer with strong React skills to join its fully remote, Latin‑America‑focused team. You will work on high‑impact projects for a diverse client base, delivering modern, high‑quality web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel (v8+) back‑ends and React front‑ends.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs using Inertia.js.
• Write automated tests with Pest, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, or Playwright.
• Collaborate with product owners to translate client goals into technical solutions.
• Take full ownership of features from estimation through delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous‑learning initiatives.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel (v8 or newer).
• Proven expertise in Eloquent ORM, Laravel authentication, and query builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest, PHPUnit, Dusk, or Playwright.
• Solid background in frontend development using React (or Vue.js, Livewire) and familiarity with Tailwind CSS is a plus.
• Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and a positive, can‑do attitude.
