Project Manager (Software Development) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead software development initiatives for its Latin America remote team. You will coordinate multiple workstreams, manage client dependencies, and ensure delivery against fixed external deadlines while collaborating with distributed engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor software development projects across several concurrent workstreams, controlling scope, budget, and timelines.
• Maintain client dependency registers, risk registers, and change‑control processes, escalating issues as needed.
• Coordinate third‑party vendor contracts, credentials, and integration timelines.
• Lead Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams, defining milestones, gate criteria, and client‑facing status reports.
• Translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders and executives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience managing software development projects.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to overlap US business hours and work with large, complex, distributed systems.
• Demonstrated extreme ownership and accountability for deliverables.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management and tracking tools such as Jira and Asana.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
