Laravel Developer + React – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a seasoned Laravel Developer with strong React skills to join its remote team serving clients across Latin America. You will work on high‑impact projects, delivering modern web applications that combine Laravel back‑ends with responsive front‑ends.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel (v8+) applications using Eloquent ORM, authentication, and query builder.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and Inertia.js interfaces.
• Implement front‑end features with React (and optionally Vue.js or Livewire).
• Write automated tests using Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, or Playwright.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure delivery aligns with client goals.
• Take ownership of tasks, provide accurate estimates, and meet agreed timelines.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel 8 or newer.
• Proven experience with Eloquent ORM, Laravel authentication, and query builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest, PHPUnit, Dusk, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with Inertia.js and building RESTful APIs.
• Front‑end development experience (React required; Vue.js or Livewire a plus).
• Bonus: experience with Tailwind CSS.
• Strong sense of ownership, client‑focused mindset, and meticulous attention to detail.
