Senior Technical Program Manager – Software Development

About the role

Devsu is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead complex software development programs for its clients. The role combines deep technical knowledge with proven program‑management expertise to ensure end‑to‑end delivery across multiple technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage program roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risks, resources and delivery plans.
• Coordinate with engineering, product, QA, DevOps, architecture and business teams to guarantee successful delivery.
• Serve as the primary client contact, communicating progress, risks, decisions and outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate cross‑team dependencies, blockers and escalations.
• Monitor program health using delivery, technical, financial and quality metrics.
• Maintain scope, timelines, budget and alignment with contractual objectives.
• Drive adherence to SDLC processes, Agile methodologies and delivery standards.
• Provide executive‑level reporting and status updates to internal and client leadership.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in project, program or technical program management, preferably in software development or technology services.
• Background in a hands‑on technical role such as software engineering, QA automation or DevOps is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑team software programs.
• Experience in IT services, technology consulting, staff augmentation or near‑shore delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern delivery practices.
