Learning & Development Generalist

About the role

We are seeking a Learning & Development Generalist to ensure smooth execution of our training programs. The role acts as the primary liaison for trainers and campus support teams, handling room readiness, logistics, and day‑to‑day L&D operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain operational readiness of all designated training rooms and auxiliary spaces.
• Communicate with trainers before new‑hire classes to confirm room setup, equipment, materials, and any additional requirements.
• Conduct regular checks of training rooms to ensure equipment, furniture, technology, and resources are functional.
• Manage training room supply boxes, monitor inventory, and coordinate replenishment of supplies.
• Collaborate with IT, Facilities, Maintenance, and other support teams to resolve room issues.
• Support trainers with classroom setup, room changes, logistical requests, and on‑site troubleshooting.
• Assist in planning and preparing new‑hire classes, workshops, meetings, and other L&D activities.
• Maintain L&D standards, procedures, and checklists related to room operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve training logistics and the overall trainer and learner experience.
• Provide administrative support to the L&D Manager, including updating training rosters and attendance records.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Experience in Learning & Development, training, operations, administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
• Proactive problem‑solving and multitasking abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in coordinating room logistics and managing inventory.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams such as IT, Facilities, and Maintenance.
