Pricing & Supply Analyst

About the role

The Pricing & Supply Analyst will support the marketing and planning teams by analysing pricing, costing and supply data across retail, B2B and wholesale segments of the petroleum business. The role ensures competitive pricing, margin optimisation and cost‑effective inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily volume, unit margin and gross margin for petroleum product sales and track competitor price changes.
• Develop and maintain pricing strategies, tools and financial models for each customer segment.
• Ensure pricing execution aligns with supply costs, network plans and sales targets, providing clear guidance to sales teams.
• Manage relationships with trading and sales managers, delivering coaching and best‑practice communication.
• Execute and monitor planning projects, generate forecasts and produce regular performance reports.
• Establish cost structures, identify savings opportunities and oversee accurate cost uploads into systems.
• Maintain inventory cost monitoring to support daily transaction estimates.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in pricing, costing or supply chain analysis.
• Good understanding of the petroleum market and its pricing dynamics.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with trading, operations, taxation and sales teams.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting data‑driven insights to management.
