Senior React Native Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and implementation of offline‑first data synchronization for a global quick‑service‑restaurant (QSR) point‑of‑sale platform. The role focuses on building multi‑tier sync across devices, restaurant edge nodes, and the cloud, ensuring reliable operation even when connectivity is intermittent.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement multi‑tier synchronization with offline‑first guarantees.
• Develop conflict‑resolution logic using CRDT frameworks such as Automerge or Ditto.
• Apply event‑sourcing, CQRS, and saga patterns to order, kitchen, payment, and receipt workflows.
• Maintain real‑time state across devices via pub/sub or WebSockets.
• Model and reconcile data in PostgreSQL with local and edge stores.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with distributed data or synchronization systems.
• Strong proficiency in React Native, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience with offline‑first architectures and CRDT‑based sync frameworks.
• Solid understanding of distributed‑system concepts such as eventual consistency and idempotency.
• Upper‑intermediate English communication skills.
