Accounting Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead our daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support compliance with local tax regulations. The role involves managing a team, coordinating month‑end and year‑end closings, and providing financial insights to management.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting processes, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable, inventory, and fixed assets.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with SAT and other regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate monthly and annual closing activities.
• Lead, train, and monitor the performance of the accounting team.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Develop financial reports for management and the corporate headquarters.
• Maintain internal controls and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, with proven supervisory or coordination responsibilities.
• Degree in Public Accounting and Auditing (CPA); active professional registration is a plus.
• Experience in multinational or international corporate environments is desirable.
• Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from Q8,500 to Q9,500 per month, based on experience.
• Full‑time permanent position with a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule.
