About the role

The Hotel Reception Agent will build strong relationships with guests, ensuring their satisfaction by delivering high‑quality, anticipatory service that exceeds expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clear, accurate information about hotel services, operating hours, facilities, and nearby attractions.
• Handle special requests, resolve complaints efficiently, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Manage check‑in and check‑out processes: verify documents, assign rooms, review consumptions, issue invoices, and process payments.
• Coordinate transportation or bell‑service requests as needed.
• Operate the Property Management System (PMS), specifically Opera, to manage reservations and guest data.
• Communicate and coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure rooms are ready and meet high standards.
• Inform relevant teams about VIP arrivals, repeat guests, or guests with special needs.
• Handle cash transactions, petty cash, and perform cash reconciliations; issue fiscal receipts and invoices.
• Uphold high‑end hospitality standards and maintain absolute discretion with VIP or celebrity guests.

Required profile

• Medium‑level education; preferably incomplete university studies in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration or related fields.
• Minimum six months of previous hotel experience.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work rotating shifts.
• Fluent Spanish (100%) and proficient English (approximately 85%).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera Property Management System (PMS).
