AI Solutions Architect – Azure

About the role

3Pillar Global is seeking an AI Solutions Architect to design and deliver enterprise‑grade AI products on Azure. You will own the end‑to‑end architecture of large‑language‑model‑driven applications, guiding teams from concept through production while defining where deterministic code ends and AI begins.

Key responsibilities

• Define AI boundaries, evaluation metrics, and human‑review workflows for every product.
• Design agent, retrieval, and evaluation layers using Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Search, and Azure AI Document Intelligence.
• Architect application back‑ends with hexagonal design, temporal data models on Azure SQL, and reliable messaging via Azure Service Bus.
• Lead legacy‑modernisation using strangler‑fig patterns, feature flags, and observable checkpoints.
• Produce C4 diagrams, architecture decision records, and present technical decisions to client leadership.

Required profile

• 13+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years as a solutions architect.
• Hands‑on Azure architecture experience with .NET (C#) or Node.js (TypeScript) production systems.
• Proven delivery of domain‑driven designs, hexagonal/clean architecture, and multi‑tenant SaaS solutions.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

• .NET 8 (C#) and Node.js (TypeScript) development.
• Azure App Service, Azure Container Apps, Azure SQL (temporal tables), Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions.
• Infrastructure as code (Bicep or Terraform), Azure DevOps, Application Insights, OpenTelemetry.
• Web components, TypeScript, design‑token systems.
