About the role

The role ensures execution, review and coordination of accounting, tax, credit and treasury support processes for UPL in Guatemala. It serves as the local focal point with the Global Business Services (GCC) and the CAC finance cluster, contributing to reliable financial information, tax compliance, credit risk management and timely portfolio recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax obligations, respond to SAT requests and coordinate required documentation.
• Review financial statements, coordinate adjustments and present them locally; act as the registered accountant before SAT when formally designated.
• Monitor the accounts‑receivable portfolio, manage collections, negotiate payment terms and maintain direct client contact.
• Administer credit limits, identify and escalate credit risks, delays and discrepancies affecting portfolio recovery.
• Execute payment proposals using SAP F110 according to defined calendars, controls and approval levels.
• Validate information, resolve incidents, and keep traceability of all activities.
• Coordinate accounting, tax, credit and payment matters with GCC and regional finance, driving standardisation, simplification, controls and documentation.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, tax, credit/collections and accounts‑receivable.
• Experience managing SAT audits.

• SAP F110 (payment proposal module).
