About the role
The Transport Assistant is responsible for handling incoming merchandise, loading it onto company vehicles, and ensuring timely deliveries to client locations. This role involves driving the cargo vehicle, planning routes, and supporting the final delivery process, including invoicing and payment collection.
Key responsibilities
- Receive goods from the warehouse and load them onto transport vehicles.
- Drive the cargo vehicle and organize assigned delivery routes, including occasional special assignments.
- Assist with loading and positioning merchandise at client sites.
- Deliver invoices to clients and collect final payments.
- Settle route accounts and report delivery outcomes.
Required profile
- High school level education (graduado a nivel medio) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in transport, logistics, or related field.
- Valid driving license category A or B.
