Data Migration Specialist – Python & AI Tools

About the role

Podium is looking for a Data Migration Specialist to ensure new customers start with clean, accurate, and well‑structured data from day one. You will work closely with Onboarding Managers and Customer Success Managers to extract, clean, transform, and import data from legacy systems into the Podium platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end data migrations: extract data from CSV files, APIs, or database exports, clean and normalize it, and upload it into Podium.
• Automate and scale migrations using Python (pandas) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets techniques.
• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and internal AI systems to accelerate data cleaning and validation.
• Identify migration patterns and propose process improvements for faster, more accurate results.
• Collaborate with Onboarding and CSM teams to define data requirements and ensure accuracy.
• Handle escalations by troubleshooting and resolving post‑launch data issues with urgency and clear communication.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in a data‑focused or technical role (e.g., Data Analyst, RevOps, Business Intelligence, Technical Onboarding).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Python programming, preferably with pandas.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets for data transformation and validation.
• Experience with CSV files, API data extraction, and database exports.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for data processing.
