About the role
The Regional Supply Chain Director will define and lead the end‑to‑end supply chain strategy for Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama and Miami. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position influences profitable growth, product availability, working‑capital optimization and service excellence across all channels.
Key responsibilities
- Define and govern a regional supply chain strategy that aligns demand, sourcing, operations and financial targets through a robust S&OP process.
- Ensure product availability and meet service‑level commitments for distribution, key customers, physical retail and digital commerce.
- Optimize working capital by disciplined inventory management, portfolio lifecycle control and market‑specific policies.
- Lead the regional network of warehousing, transportation, distribution, last‑mile, reverse logistics and billing, driving productivity, reliability and scalability.
- Drive operational and technological transformation, enhancing standardization, traceability and data‑driven decision making.
- Manage the budget, strategic supplier alliances and develop high‑performing regional and local teams.
Required profile
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field; postgraduate studies or MBA preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressive supply chain or operations experience, with a minimum of 5 years leading multi‑country structures.
- Experience in distribution, retail, technology or fast‑moving consumer goods environments with high complexity and short product lifecycles.
- Deep knowledge of S&OP, demand planning, inventory, warehousing, transportation, distribution and international trade.
- Proven ability to lead transformation, align functions and translate operational/financial data into executive decisions.
- Hands‑on experience with WMS, TMS and analytical tools; advanced English; willingness to travel 30‑50 % of the time.
- Preferred certifications: APICS/ASCM, Lean Six Sigma; postgraduate or MBA.
