About the role

The Decision Rules and Data Specialist will design, develop and implement statistical models and analytical solutions within the decision engine and data core. The role supports commercial management, collection processes and strategic decision‑making using agile methodologies and advanced analytics tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy statistical and predictive models (supervised and unsupervised) to improve commercial and collection performance.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and transformation processes in SQL and Azure Databricks.
• Create micro‑services and APIs to expose analytical results to front‑end, back‑end and middleware systems.
• Collaborate with business units using Scrum practices to ensure solutions meet strategic objectives.
• Monitor model accuracy, data quality and operational efficiency, and continuously refine solutions.

Required profile

• University degree in Systems Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in data analysis, statistical modeling and software development.
• Proven ability to work with structured and unstructured data, big‑data environments and data transformation.

Required skills

• SQL and Azure Databricks for data extraction and processing.
• Object‑oriented programming in .NET, Java, JavaScript or Python.
• Design and implementation of micro‑services and REST/SOAP APIs (JSON, XML).
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, Integration Server and Databricks platforms.
• Proficiency in Jupyter notebooks, Power BI and Fico Blaze for analytics and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of statistical modeling techniques and predictive analytics.
