About the role

We are a regional SaaS B2B services and consulting company seeking an HR Generalist to join a dynamic, multicultural team in Guatemala City. The role is hybrid and supports operations across Guatemala, Mexico, Central America, Colombia and Peru.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, screening, interviews, assessments, references, offers and hiring for trainees and interns.
• Lead end-to-end onboarding: documentation, system access, induction, buddy assignment and probation follow-up.
• Coordinate training logistics, from invitations to providers, attendance tracking, evaluations and record-keeping.
• Handle first-level employee relations and monitor case progress.
• Drive engagement and integration through activities, celebrations, team-building events and internal communications.
• Ensure compliance with documentation and regulatory requirements, including ISO 27001 and local labor laws.
• Support off-boarding, HR reporting and database maintenance.

Required profile

• Degree or near-completion in Industrial Engineering, Psychology or a related field.
• Mid-level experience as an HR Generalist.
• Knowledge of Guatemalan labor legislation; regional knowledge (Mexico, Central America, Colombia, Peru) is a plus.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Strong communication, proactive attitude, teamwork and networking abilities.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in an agile environment.

Required skills

• ISO 27001 compliance knowledge.
