About the role

The Cloud Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure for Grupo Financiero Banrural. The role focuses on implementing innovative cloud solutions, automating infrastructure processes, and ensuring operational efficiency aligned with the organization’s technology strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage cloud services (VMs, networking, storage, databases) on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible.
• Implement and operate containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Set up monitoring and alerting systems to ensure availability and performance, and respond to incidents.
• Apply cloud security best practices, including IAM, security groups, data encryption, and compliance policies.
• Identify cost‑optimization opportunities and reduce operational expenses.
• Provide technical support to development and operations teams.
• Create and keep clear technical documentation for configurations and procedures.
• Collaborate closely with cloud architects, developers, and other engineers.

Required profile

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or Cloud Solutions Architect.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven experience managing Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible.
