About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Farm Operator to carry out field activities on a pig farm, following established procedures to ensure optimal animal health and production.

Key responsibilities

• Execute both automated and manual feeding processes for pigs, providing feed and water while minimizing waste.
• Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure suitable environmental conditions for animal performance.
• Inspect animal health and mortality, administer medications as needed, and remove sick animals according to protocol.
• Observe pig groups to identify low‑performing individuals and take corrective actions.
• Apply biosecurity measures in the work area to protect animal health.
• Handle the reception, loading, and transfer of animals within the production chain following standard procedures.

Required profile

• Primary and secondary education (minimum 6th grade).
• Experience with physically demanding work in agriculture, livestock, or related fields such as construction.
• Interest in caring for farm animals.
• Availability to work scheduled shifts.

Required skills

• Ability to operate feeding equipment (automated and manual).
• Basic animal health observation.
• Understanding of biosecurity practices.
