Senior DevOps Engineer (Databricks) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Databricks to join our talent network and work remotely with clients across Latin America. You will be embedded in the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to deliver robust data platform solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps Engineering.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree (four‑year college).
• Proven experience administering and optimizing Databricks on AWS in enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code for cloud automation.

Required skills

• Databricks on AWS, including Unity Catalog management.
• Terraform, REST APIs, and Infrastructure as Code.
• GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines and reusable workflows.
• Python and SQL programming.
• Apache Spark and distributed data processing.
• Code quality and security tools such as SQLFluff and PyLint.
• AWS IAM, Databricks RBAC, and least‑privilege access principles.
