About the role
This position offers extra shifts in a busy kitchen environment, combining duties as a steward (dishwasher) and a kitchen assistant. The role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible, day‑by‑day work in the hospitality sector.
Key responsibilities
- Wash cutlery, plates, and glassware to restaurant standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing and kitchen areas.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff in basic food preparation tasks.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
Required profile
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks.
- Reliability and punctuality for daily shift assignments.
- Flexibility to work various days as needed.
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning and food‑handling procedures.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene standards.
- Experience operating commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Fundamental food preparation skills.
What we offer
- Payment per day worked, processed through a special payroll system.
- Salary paid on the Thursday following each shift.
