About the role
The company seeks a senior lawyer to provide strategic legal advice to its group of companies, ensuring compliance with Guatemalan regulations and overseeing all corporate and real‑estate related legal matters.
Key responsibilities
- Advise group companies on legal strategy and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review and manage contracts and corporate agreements.
- Handle corporate affairs, legal representation and registration procedures.
- Monitor and follow up on ongoing corporate legal issues.
Required profile
- Lawyer and Notary, duly registered with the professional board.
- Minimum six years of experience as a corporate lawyer, legal advisor, real‑estate lawyer or a similar role.
- Experience in the real‑estate, construction or project development sector is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of Guatemalan labor, civil and commercial law, with a focus on private law.
- Excellent organization, document management and communication abilities.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Zone 15, Guatemala City.
