Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

Genpact is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support financial operations and drive process improvements. The role involves managing payments, providing cash‑flow insights, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accurate accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Track all payments, invoices, and statements.
• Provide cash‑flow projections to the treasury team.
• Ensure timely payments and settlement in bank accounts.
• Prepare monthly account analysis and reports.
• Assist with ERP and system implementations.
• Present financial information to business stakeholders.
• Support process improvement, self‑audit, and external audits.
• Maintain compliance with segregation of duties and internal policies.
• Reconcile system reports to balances.
• Supervise sub‑ledger postings and clean open items.
• Support month‑end closing routines and control advance payments.

Required profile

• Financial analyst background with basic bookkeeping knowledge.
• Strong communication, accountability, and teamwork.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and digital tools.
• Accounts Payable or Record‑to‑Report experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Self‑motivated, high‑energy, and able to work in a global environment.
