AI Governance & Strategy Specialist (Intermediate)

About the role

At TELUS Digital, we believe that the true power of AI lies in its responsible and strategic application. As a Specialist in our AI Consulting Governance & Strategy Community, you will design frameworks that enable organizations to scale AI safely and effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategic AI roadmaps with executive stakeholders, aligning high‑value use cases to business objectives and ROI targets.
• Design and implement robust AI governance structures, including accountability models, policy guidelines, and ethical review processes.
• Lead cross‑functional assessments to ensure compliance with global standards such as the EU AI Act, GDPR, and NIST RMF, mitigating bias, privacy, and security risks.
• Create rubrics for model explainability and fairness, guaranteeing transparent, unbiased AI‑driven decisions.
• Facilitate workshops and training programs to raise AI literacy, bridging expertise gaps and fostering an ethical AI culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law (Digital/Tech focus), MIS, Ethics or Philosophy; MBA or JD highly preferred.
• Native‑level proficiency in your primary language to navigate regional legal nuances.
• Minimum B1 (intermediate) English proficiency for global collaboration.
• 2–3 years of experience in management consulting, digital transformation, or corporate governance focused on emerging technologies.
• Successful completion of a subject‑specific qualification exam and ID verification.
