Analista de Contabilidad – Ciudad de Guatemala

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our finance team in Guatemala City. In this position you will ensure accurate and timely recording of accounting processes, support the preparation of reliable financial statements, and guarantee compliance with current tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and record assigned accounting transactions promptly and correctly.
• Assist in the preparation of timely and reliable financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax legislation.
• Prepare and file tax obligations to the relevant fiscal authorities.
• Participate in month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, tax compliance, and financial closing, preferably in insurance, banking or similar sectors.
• Strong knowledge of current tax regulations and fiscal legislation.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with strong analytical attention to detail.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
