Analista Fiscal

About the role

The company seeks a diligent Fiscal Analyst to ensure timely compliance with all tax obligations across the group. You will work closely with finance, accounting, procurement, sales, logistics and operations teams to guarantee correct tax treatment of all transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file VAT, ISR, ISO and other applicable tax returns.
• Validate tax calculations before submission to the SAT.
• Analyze company operations to ensure proper tax treatment.
• Monitor legislative changes and assess their impact.
• Handle SAT audits, inspections and verification processes.
• Prepare supporting documentation, reconciliations and files for tax inspections.
• Supervise obligations related to FEL, withholdings, perceptions and tax documentation.
• Identify fiscal risks and propose mitigation actions.
• Advise internal areas on tax matters and review contracts for tax implications.
• Track tax credit refunds, compensations and related procedures.
• Generate reports on tax indicators, contingencies and compliance.
• Maintain tax calendars and deadlines.
• Participate in corporate projects from a tax perspective.

Required profile

• Degree in Public Accounting or Auditing (completed curriculum).
• 2‑4 years of experience in tax/compliance functions.
• Proven experience preparing and reviewing tax declarations.
• Strong knowledge of Guatemalan tax legislation.
• Experience dealing with SAT audits and requirements.
• Ability to perform accounting and tax reconciliations.
• Analytical mindset with risk‑mitigation capabilities.
• Result‑oriented, organized and effective communicator.
