Asistente de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional (SSO)

About the role

We are looking for an Occupational Safety and Health Assistant (SSO) to support the implementation and monitoring of safety and health requirements across our factories and offices. The role involves assisting with inspections, corrective actions, audit preparation, documentation review, training coordination and supporting the Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) related to safety and health.

Key responsibilities

• Support compliance with legal and corporate occupational safety and health requirements.
• Conduct periodic safety inspections in factories, identify unsafe conditions and improvement opportunities.
• Document findings with reports, photos and records; track corrective and preventive actions to closure.
• Maintain up‑to‑date matrices of findings and action plans.
• Assist in preparing sites for internal, client and third‑party audits, including evidence collection and CAP follow‑up.
• Coordinate and track safety‑related training, inspections and other activities.
• Review evacuation routes, signage, fire‑extinguishing equipment, emergency lighting, first‑aid kits and personal protective equipment.
• Support risk identification for machinery, electrical installations, chemicals and general work conditions.
• Assist with SLCP evaluations: gather documentation, follow up on safety findings and interpret basic SLCP questions.
• Prepare periodic compliance reports and communicate risks, non‑conformities or delays promptly.

Required profile

• Organized, proactive and detail‑oriented.
• Ability to work with multiple teams and travel between different sites.
• Basic knowledge of occupational safety and health standards and the SLCP framework.
