Auxiliar Analista de Presupuestos y Costos

About the role

Grupo IMD is looking for an Assistant Budget and Cost Analyst to interpret plans, quantify materials and work, integrate costs and prepare technical and economic offers for commercial, corporate and industrial projects. The role requires a deep understanding of each project to detect omissions, validate quantities and performance, research suppliers and produce competitive, executable and profitable budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, tender documents and client requirements to identify missing information, contradictions and technical risks.
• Prepare technical queries and document the assumptions used in each budget.
• Participate in technical site visits and surveys when required.
• Develop detailed quantifications of materials, labor, equipment and services, including calculations of areas, linear meters, volumes, yields and waste percentages.
• Create material breakdowns and modularizations to optimize material usage and maintain clear supporting documentation.
• Perform unit price analysis, integrate direct and indirect costs, and request and compare supplier quotations.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Import departments to incorporate national and imported product costs, including freight, insurance, taxes, customs, storage and local transport.
• Include contingencies, risks, guarantees, retentions and contractual conditions, applying authorized commercial margins.
• Prepare complete technical and economic offers, drafting scopes, exclusions, guarantees, delivery times, validity and payment terms.
