Capacitador en Salud y Seguridad Ocupacional (Freelance)

About the role

The company seeks a freelance trainer to deliver in‑person and virtual Occupational Health and Safety (SSO) courses to diverse employee groups. The role is project‑based, allowing the trainer to adapt content to each client’s specific risks and needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and conduct practical SSO training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
• Customize training materials to align with the risk profile of each organization.
• Provide first‑aid, fire‑prevention, evacuation, and emergency‑response instruction.
• Travel within Guatemala City and occasionally to other regions for onsite sessions.
• Maintain records of training activities and comply with contractual timelines.

Required profile

• Technical or university degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Prevention, Nursing, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience delivering safety trainings, workshops, or talks.
• Possession of a certified First‑Aid kit.
• Knowledge of Guatemalan Government Agreement 229‑2014 and its reforms.
• Availability to work on a freelance, project‑based basis, both onsite and online.
