About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Guatemala. The role supports the financial operations of GCG and Zulu, ensuring accurate month‑end closing, bank reconciliation and tax compliance. This position offers the chance to develop accounting expertise in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and record monthly closing entries and provisions for GCG and Zulu.
• Perform bank reconciliations for both entities.
• Integrate and reconcile assigned balance‑sheet accounts.
• Calculate taxes, complete required forms (e.g., Forms 2‑4) and manage tax payments, including ISR, IVA, and other withholdings.
• Review and process payroll‑related tax obligations such as employee ISR and IGSS contributions.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight month‑end deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Motivation to work in a diverse, multicultural team.
