Credit Risk Analyst – Commercial Credit

About the role

Inviting applications for the role of Credit Senior Analyst, focusing on financial analysis and risk assessment evaluations. The position involves assessing the creditworthiness of companies and providing recommendations on credit limits and payment terms for commercial deals.

Key responsibilities

• Determine whether orders on hold in the ERP can be released and advise sales teams on next steps.
• Ensure workflow approvals align with order and billing data.
• Analyze internal and external accounts receivable, payment information, and risk ratings.
• Perform timely credit risk analysis on prospects and existing customers as directed.
• Compile deep‑dive analyses including risk scores, payment behaviour, AR exposure, financial statements, competitor and SWOT analysis.
• Communicate credit findings to business teams and propose mitigation plans.
• Navigate multiple credit tools and receivable systems to deliver accurate recommendations.
• Maintain high data‑quality standards for credit risk models and reporting.
• Conduct regular portfolio monitoring to identify high‑risk exposure and develop action plans.
• Build strong relationships to promote prompt resolution and positive business interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Experience in credit risk or financial analysis.
• Background in commercial operations, finance, or sales‑related functions.
• Strong commercial and customer‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly.
• Proven multitasking and prioritisation skills in a cross‑functional environment.
