Specialist Product Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Product Operations to join Western Union’s Settlement Operations team. The role is responsible for executing and validating settlement, refunds, cash application and reconciliation activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and validate settlement, refunds, cash application, funding and reconciliation activities within service level agreements.
• Investigate, analyze and resolve complex settlement exceptions, billing discrepancies and transactional variances.
• Perform daily reconciliation of remittance and billing transactions to maintain financial integrity.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis on operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in financial operations, settlements, reconciliations or related functions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to manage complex operational issues.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
