DevOps Engineer (AWS) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

FullStack is an AI‑native engineering partner that helps companies move AI from demo to production. They are looking for a DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join their talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on project‑based development.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate directly into client teams and collaborate daily with designers and engineers.
• Maintain Linux‑based infrastructure, including server patching, security, and AD integration.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Build and run Java applications using Maven, Gradle, and Spring, and support Node.js environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet, or Chef.
• Create and maintain containerization solutions with Docker, artifact management with Artifactory, and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Pipelines.
• Monitor systems with tools like Splunk or Dynatrace and ensure proper logging.
• Document processes, manage version control with Git, and support continuous delivery practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional DevOps or Systems Engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong background in Linux infrastructure, shell scripting, and server maintenance.
• Hands‑on experience with database configuration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience building Java applications with Maven, Gradle, Spring and working with Node.js.
• Deep knowledge of IaC and automation tools across cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Proven experience with containerization, artifact management, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging utilities.
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams and take extreme ownership of work.
