DevOps Engineer – Azure & On-Premise (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Join a global talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients as a DevOps Engineer focused on Azure cloud and on‑premise infrastructure. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, scale, and maintain production Kubernetes clusters across cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure using best‑practice patterns.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Support physical data‑center operations, including OpenStack, QEMU or Hyper‑V virtualization.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Ansible and Terraform.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting using Zabbix, Prometheus and the ELK Stack.
• Apply security hardening, integrate SIEM tools and vulnerability scanners into pipelines.
• Plan disaster‑recovery strategies and manage automated backups (e.g., AWS S3 Glacier).

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven track record with Kubernetes, Azure, and on‑premise infrastructure.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work autonomously.
