About the role

The Food & Beverage Manager will lead all restaurant and kitchen operations at El Rancho in El Progreso, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency and profitability. This position reports directly to senior management and is responsible for delivering an excellent guest experience while maintaining strict safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily food and beverage activities, including kitchen, bar and service areas.
• Manage staffing levels, recruit, train and evaluate team members.
• Control inventory, monitor stock levels and oversee purchasing.
• Design and update menus, balancing creativity with cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and sanitation regulations.
• Handle customer service issues and maintain high guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an executive chef, food‑and‑beverage manager or a similar senior role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage kitchen operations and lead a team.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Immediate availability and flexible schedule.
• Advanced English proficiency.

• Cost‑control techniques, including technical sheets and dish‑cost analysis.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
