About the role

The Operational Excellence Manager will lead initiatives to optimise and continuously improve the country’s operational processes. The role focuses on identifying efficiency gains, eliminating re‑work, standardising procedures, driving automation and strengthening operational controls across the retail network.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse operational processes to uncover improvement opportunities, reduce re‑work and optimise resource use.
• Gather information from stores, support areas and key users to detect gaps and opportunities.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects targeting productivity, cost reduction and enhanced operational experience.
• Develop diagnostics, root‑cause analyses, action plans and monitoring indicators.
• Coordinate cross‑functional work‑streams to redesign processes and implement solutions.
• Design, document and update processes, policies, procedures and operational standards.
• Run pilot tests and ensure successful rollout of new initiatives.
• Identify processes suitable for automation using digital tools, RPA, Power Automate or AI solutions.
• Collaborate with the Systems area to implement technological improvements.
• Define performance indicators and measure the impact of implemented initiatives.
• Prepare executive reports on progress, benefits, savings and results.
• Present recommendations, risks and improvement opportunities to Country Management and Regional Operational Excellence Management.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations, Finance or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• 3‑5 years of experience in continuous improvement, process optimisation, operations, retail or logistics.
• Proven track record leading optimisation and process redesign projects.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary and transversal teams.
• Preferred experience in retail companies.
