Gerente Técnico de Daños – Corporate Risk & Broking

About the role

The Technical Damage Manager will lead the technical strategy for Corporate Risk & Broking, ensuring proper identification, analysis, transfer and administration of corporate clients' risks, and the efficient placement of insurance programs in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and control negotiations and placements for policy renewals in line with defined procedures.
• Define technical standards, methodologies and best practices for corporate risk analysis.
• Act as the technical reference for complex businesses, special risks and strategic accounts.
• Design placement strategies that maximise competitiveness of offered solutions.
• Evaluate exposures, coverages, exclusions and contractual conditions of insurance programs.
• Develop and strengthen executive relationships with insurers, specialized markets and strategic partners.
• Support commercial teams in prospecting, renewal and retention of strategic clients.
• Participate in high‑impact tenders, contests and commercial presentations.

Required profile

• University degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related fields.
• Preferred Master’s in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance or an MBA.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• At least 8 years of experience in automobile or property damage insurance, underwriting or claims.
• More than 5 years leading technical or commercial teams.
• Knowledge of damage insurance, civil liability, financial lines, transport, engineering and corporate risk.
• Experience with enterprise risk management, loss analysis and regional insurance/reinsurance markets.
