Gestor de Calidad e Inocuidad – Logística y Comercial

About the role

The Quality and Food Safety Manager will lead the planning, execution, verification and continuous improvement of all activities that guarantee the quality, safety and regulatory compliance of finished ice‑cream products across production, storage, distribution and commercial channels in Guatemala.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk and hazard analyses for quality and food safety throughout the logistics chain, from warehouses to point of sale.
• Define and implement operational controls and corrective actions to ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP and other food‑safety standards.
• Perform internal audits and verification checks on own and third‑party storage facilities and transportation processes.
• Lead quality‑assurance programs aimed at reducing product returns, consumer complaints and non‑conformance costs.
• Coordinate projects that improve efficiency, reduce product loss and enhance logistical processes.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators related to quality, safety and cost of non‑quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality and food‑safety management within the food‑production or FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP and relevant local food‑safety regulations.
• Ability to design and execute risk assessments, audits and corrective‑action plans.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience with data‑driven decision making.
• Effective communication and advisory skills to support operational teams.
