IT Office Support Consultant – Talent Pool

About the role

We are building a talent pool of IT Office Support Consultants to provide end‑user IT services for the IDB Group across our offices in the Caribbean, Central and South America. Selected candidates will be called upon for current and future assignments, supporting hardware, software, connectivity and training needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line IT support to IDB personnel, ensuring effective use of workstations, mobile devices and collaboration tools.
• Provision, configure and maintain standard workstations throughout their lifecycle in line with corporate standards.
• Maintain web‑conferencing equipment and ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with the upkeep of networking, telecommunications, security and facilities‑related IT infrastructure, coordinating with local service providers.
• Support the rollout of new IT initiatives and act as a liaison between local users and central IT teams.
• Document incidents, service requests and knowledge in ticketing systems and produce regular reports and dashboards.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT support or customer‑service environments.
• Proficiency in English and one additional official IDB language (Spanish, French or Portuguese).
• Familiarity with AI and generative AI concepts and ethical considerations is a plus.
